Very misleading title and comments. I won't say much on the post since memnon and LM has already said much , but saying nvidia cards are not better than AMD is not fair that too in a single game comparision, there is a very huge world for GPU apart from DX11 and Games and I wonder who excels there :P

Errr... You have to enter add them by typing in your keyboard :lol:

For eg., if its a 2*3 grid then,

r1c1|r1c2|r1c3

r2c1|r2c2|r2c3

Enclose this is table tags and you will get it properly.

I am sorry, but I find your points a tad disingenuous.

So, looking at your numbers from the other side,

HD6970 - $320 After Rebate

GTX570 - $300 After Rebate

1920x1080

DX9 - GTX570 35% higher FPS than HD6970

DX11 - GTX570 19% higher FPS than HD6970
Disclaimer: Before accusations of fanboyism (which is what these threads devolve into), I run a 6950 unlocked to 6970.
 
Ahhh now I see, the images were not loading up at work, was wondering where the Frames Rates were, should have known better. :ashamed:

That is also very debatable. The avg performance is completely dependent on the titles chosen by the reviewer. With the appropriate choice of titles its also possible to show HD6970 to be on par with GTX580 and ripping the 570 to shreds. Ultimately, I think if we take all the games and avg, the scores would more or less even out except for some unique advantages for each GPU.

Oh, I understand. Especially at 2560x1600, the 2GB on the ATI cards really helps a lot (which is what I own). I just found it amusing how a 35%/19% higher numbers in Crysis 2 was spun as a negative for the 570.

I thought my purpose of thread was GTX570 taking a near double hit on DX11 performance than HD6970.

And to you all blaring foghorns crying "fanboyism", what is wrong with you guys?

The point is even then the GTX570 beats the similarly priced HD6970 by a comfortable margin. So people are bemused as to how you concluded AMD HD6970 to be better than Nvidia GTX 570 card when they are priced similarly.
 
If you pay attention to your own benchmarks then you will notice that AMD is still behind Nvidia in those benchmarks
