Audio Does MP21 work with Android phones - esp. Sony Ericsson Arc S

quick urgent, need to decide quick and buy it for my brother, who is pestering me

Does Soundmagic MP21 work with android phones, especially Sony Ericsson Arc S. The call answering function/mic is a must
Do any of you have first hand experience with this. Thanks !

there are two types of pin configurations
the MP21 uses the iPhone type config
Apparently the arc S doesnt
Arc S earphone jack configuration - xda-developers
Had the same issue with my spica.
Though you can get an adapter for this - it's usually available with most philips earphones with mic - I got mine off one when it came up for a daily deal.
