Downloading through the proxy

Hey guys,
The College where I've joint has put up a proxy to prevent download of torrents. Need help in configuring the laptop to be able to download torrents, also need to ensure that I don't get pulled up for 'unethical' behaviour. Lol.

Please help. Thanks!
 
If its websense that's blocking, then forget it. It will block all the free proxies as well. What you can do is setup a PC @home and then use it as proxy server but that's rather pointless and defeats the purpose doesn't it.

If someone can point out a proxy that wouldn't be blocked by websense as well as which would provide a b/w of more than 2mbps, I would appreciate that. :D
