Hi,
Whats the cost of dvd media available at lamington? I'm asking cause a friend is coming from US, and i thought of asking him to get 50-100 dvds. Is there a large diffrence in price? And if i do ask him, should it be dvd-r or dvd+r. (i knew the diff, but forgot) I will use it only on my pc.And which company? Verbatim, TDK, Memorex? Samsung seems to cheapest.

1) Get Taiyo Yuden 8X DVD+R discs from rima.com.. MUCH cheaper and better than anything you can get here. 41 cents per disc. At Lamington, get Imation or Sony +R discs.. the best. 8X.. roughly 9 minutes per disc.
 
^^ i would second techhead on the TY's. If you want el-cheapo but reliable in burn quality (price wise) media then u can get Edgetech 8X dvd-r's(@ 22/- each) in a 10 cake pack. There are the Moser Baer pro dvd-r @ 40 each.

Where can get TY & Edgetech in Mumbai are both available on Lamington Rd
 
hey zhopudey if u can get some extra verbatims for me then let me know. ill take how many ever u can get for me from 10 - 100dvds. let me know if its possible for u to get.

has any1 heard of the brand: "Yucan"? :huh:

i had asked my friend to get a 50-pack of Verbatim from China, but he got these instead @ Rs 15.25 per piece. :S

dont kno if theyr any good... so far iv burnt 5 of them with a 100% success rate.

if any1 has bought them, do lemme kno the price u got them for... thnx

EDIT: theyr 4x DVD5s.
