Graphic Cards Dvi to CRT adapter for 6600GT

Hi All,
I have received an aopen 6600GT replacement agp card in exchange for the card I had sent for repair. However, this card does not work either. The problem seems to be with the crt output of the card, because when I plug in the card my computer starts, I can even hear the windows logon music and I can even hear the sound of the pop up window for "found new hardware wizzard".
So windows actually does detect this vedio card and even tries to install the drivers for it. The only problem seems to be with the CRT socket of the vedio card, because my monitor just begins to come on for a split second, and then goes off again.

The only last solution seems to be for me to try out a dvi-to-vga adapter, but I am unable to find one here. I also tried to search one on ebay.in, but I didnt know where to look.
Can someone please find me the link on ebay for such an adapter. Also, if there is anyone in Goa with such an adapter, would you like to come to my place so we can test this card on the adapter?

I had this problem.
Dual-DVI is a pain, especially when DVI-CRT converters are so prone to getting their damn contact pins pushed back resulting in improper contact being made causing no display to come up.

And it doesn't help that these things aren't available easily anywhere.
