Electronicscomp.com not shipping order placed 3 months ago

Hello guys,
I ordered some components from electronicscomp in the month of October and estimated delivery date was a week later. But they haven't shipped it till now. I have sent them complaints about this about 5 times and each 1st time they told that there was issue with delivery partner and the next 4 times they sent the same reponse that it will be shipped soon.

What are my options now?

I thought of complaining on their twitter handle but it seems to be inactive. I did not at all expected to be scammed. But 3 months and counting, is a large delay for a order that should have been delivered in 1 week.

I have faced the same scenario but partial shipment. I ordered 8 items on ElectronicsComp and they shipped 4 in one shipment and after complaining they shipped the 1 in another shipment.

But both the times they marked the invoice for all the items and one the first shipment itself the full order was marked are done. I have followed up them in mail and after December first week the automatic response also ceased and their customer care number is always busy or IVRS would put me on hold forever.

Despite all the follow-up, I haven't received the missing items till date.

It seems they are winding down their business and may need to look for an alternatives.
 
I was using them frequently but sometime near the end of last year it all went downhill for them and their shippings times were delayed and even when they shipped the products they only shipped some of the items from your order and their customer support is non existent.

Personally I have been using Robu, Sunrom, Goodwill and haven't faced any issues yet.

Very bad site. They ship very late. It appears they import products from China after you place an order. CS gives BS reasons like shifting of warehouse. And they dont have any refund policy. If you have paid through Credit Card try raising a dispute and charge back with Credit Card company.
 
My last order was delayed with that reason:

Call them at 9008032648, ask for an update or a refund. They are slow to respond to emails, it took about three weeks for my last order.

I've not had good experiences with them lately — Items were missing from order and were shipped out separately weeks later after my email or completely different items were sent instead of what was ordered, and their prototyping services always mess up if you order more than one unique design per material. They get around 1000 orders a day, so it looks like they're a victim of their own success.

https://sharvielectronics.com/ has so far been reliable for me, as has https://probots.co.in/ https://www.tomsonelectronics.com/ https://www.mgsuperlabs.com/ https://www.dnatechindia.com/ https://zbotic.in/

Sunrom is in a class of it's own though, way above everyone else.
 
Adding a few i have bought from

Projectpoint.in - never needed support, updates at every step of transaction and very good collection of components
electroncomponents.com - good collection of components, never had any complaints

My experience with sharvielectronics.com also has been very good

I have tried to contact them on whatsapp on this number and first time got told order will be shipped soon.
Order got shipped 10 days after placing it. Then, it got canceled by delivery company.
Since then i have tried to contact them on email about 5 times and got same answer of we will ship soon.
3 months for a simple order.
The number on whatsapp doesnt reply.

If you received this in an e-mail from them, its an auto/computer generated e-mail that just replies with "we will ship soon" regardless of what your e-mail says.
 
I have also ordered 2 low values items on 2nd Feb, and they haven't shipped it till now. My bad I haven't seen this thread before.

After asking them about the delay, they responsed that because of vendor issue they are unable to source one of the item. I ask them to refund for the 1 item and ship the other one. I am yet to hear back from them.
 
Almost all buyers are having the same experience. Check newest reviews in google. They sent me partial items after a long delay. Then gave silly excuses. You can forget any refund from EC. I managed to get store credit after a long period of communication. Now the question is whether they will actually ship out all items ordered using that credit. I don't think they restock. Just exhausting their remaining inventory & using store credit to accelerate it. They may close down any moment. Better avoid.
 
Update from my side as well. All items purchased using store credit got shipped within reasonable time frame. Nothing was missing. This won't make overlook the trouble they caused earlier. Maybe pay on delivery after opening the package.

Have you tried contacting them on the phone? They've got 2 working numbers. I managed to speak to this one person after a maximum 5-6 minutes of wait everytime. They don't have a customer care team. Maybe that's why people aren't able to get through quickly.
