i also thought, u got a DSLR. ive heard DSLRs need a lot of learning to start taking good snaps. Anyway this is surelly an upgrade from entry level P$S ones with bigger lens and more zoom.

I am a novice in photography so didn't jump to a dslr, when I christined the title as 'not just a point-n-shoot' what I wanted to do is to highlight features like varying the shutter speed , aperture adjustment etc.
