I came across this offer few days back, but could not post it immediately, better late than never :P

Epson TX 100 all in one is available for Rs.2,590 + shipping for three days in the bigbazaar online site. Same is also available in the ezone outlets across the country (saw the ad in today's news paper). I hope its a good offer.

This Printer uses four color separate cartridges and the cartridges (epson 91N) cost just around Rs. 250 (original ones) each.

It comes with one touch copy function.

Saw the AIO yesterday at bigbazaar. MRP was posted as 2999, so Im not sure how Delta is selling for more. I also saw some other AIOs around ~3k.

@gmano, Thanks for the cartridge information!! I didnt buy it yesterday because I wasnt sure how much the printing and cartridge cost will be.

Some more info about this printer. Color cartridge cost needs to be factored in, However I am not sure how often you need to replace the color cartridges if you stick to B&W printouts mainly.

Anyone who has Epson printers can perhaps comment

When an ink cartridge needs replacing, you cannot continue copying or printing without replacing the relevant cartridge, even if other cartridges don’t need replacing.

This printer will use a quantity of ink from each cartridge for print-head cleaning and maintenance and will use ink from all cartridges for both black and colour printing.

Unless epson has changed their design for printers, i would advise to stay away from those.

They used to have printer head separate (and not integrated with cartridge like HP does) so if for any reason, its messed up may be becoz use of refilled or 3rd party cartridges, one will have to spend a bomb (almost equal to printer cost) to get that printer head replaced. I have personal experience of this. :@ On that day, i decided not to even think of epson as choice while buying printing soln.

Its not used to be the case with hp printers, for them every new cartridge comes a head integrated. So ur printer stays safe, which is recommended.
