What is the EVGA Advanced RMA (EAR) Program?

The EVGA Advanced RMA (EAR) Program is a program to protect yourself and your product in the case of product failure. If something was to go wrong with your EVGA product the standard RMA process will be accelerated by prepaying for your shipping options with one of the plans available. This will cut down the amount of time your system will be down and save you money on shipping. Customers can choose to not participate in this program and if anything does go wrong in the future they can still apply for a standard RMA. Cross-Shipment on standard RMA’s are not available and customers will be required to pay for shipping the product(s) back to EVGA.

EAR Terms and Conditions

Customers must purchase an EVGA product on of after November 1st 2006 and are required to register the product within 30 days of purchase to take advantage of this premium service.

Currently EAR is ONLY available to residents in the continental US. We are working on expanding this program to cover other regions and countries, please stay tuned for future announcements on our site at http://www.evga.com.

During the registration process, you will be asked if you want to participate in the EAR program. After the registration process is complete customers will still have the option to enter this program as long as they are within 30 days of purchase. Once your date of purchase is over 30 days you will still have the option to purchase an EAR but will pay the standard price.

When a customer requires an EAR to be performed they will be instructed to send in a copy of their invoice. In the event that the invoice you provide to EVGA shows you do not meet the criteria for the EAR program, your product will be removed from the EAR program and you will be credited with EVGA Bucks.

EVGA does NOT offer any refunds on the EAR program. All sales are final.

In order to perform an EAR you will have to provide EVGA with a valid credit card. After the replacement product is delivered to the customer, if the defective product is not returned to EVGA within 14 days the credit card provided will be charged the full MSRP amount of the replacement product. Furthermore, if the defective product arrives to EVGA damaged, or modified from its original manufacturing condition, the credit card provided will be charged the full MSRP amount of the replacement product.

EAR plans are attached to a single product. If you would like to have the EAR extended coverage for additional products you will need to purchase a plan for each individual product.

EAR plans are NOT transferable to other products.

Customer with multiple products assigned with an EAR plan, may only “Activate†one EAR one at a time.

The EAR program may NOT be used when performing a Step-up request.

Products purchased Second hand and/or from eBay may not qualify for the EAR program.

Only the original product assigned with the EAR plan will be covered. You will have an opportunity to purchase a new EAR plan for your replacement product, and Step-up products.

There is a 30 day grace period from the ship date of the replacement product were it is covered by the original products EAR plan. After the 30 day period you will need to purchase another EAR plan for the replacement product to keep it covered by the EAR program. You may choose to purchase a new EAR plan for your replacement product within the 30 day window and receive the discounted prices. After 30 days you will charged the regular price on any EAR plans purchased. In the event that the replacement card becomes defective within 30 days of replacement and you purchased a new EAR plan you will be credited with EVGA Bucks equal to the amount you paid and the card will be covered under the original EAR plan.
