1. How long do the lifetime warranties from XFX n EVGA last?

2. The card will be bought in the US by a friend. However, I will be the one registering it on the website. So will i be considered the original owner etc for warranty purposes?

Answers from anyone who has used these companies for RMA would be great and much appreciated. :cool2:

u can register the card in ur name but u'll need a US address n mayb a tel.no too :).
to RMA the card u jus need to send em the card with the serial no. blah blah so that shld'nt b a problem...

Dunno about XFX...but I can speak for evga.....there is no need for a US address or a US Tel # to register your evga card. You can register with an Indian address and Indian Tel # too.

In the US they are not that fussy about honoring the warranty...it really doesn't matter who originally purchased the card....as long as it is bought from one of US retailers...they will honor your warranty....no matter who sends the card back to them for RMA. Just keep a copy of the original invoice with you.
