there is a 10 gb limit on the day plans...... hence it is actually better to take 2 plans....... a 128 Kbps plan and a higher plan for your dlad purposes (like a umlimited 1 Mbps plan)

just switch between them during night and dload away.

Man, right now i am paying (rather my dad) Rs 2500/ + tax per month for 512 Kbps and 18 GB download limit (and night free.) So if this were available here, i would jump ship without so much as a wink.
 
Hathway 128Kbps 24 Hr unlimited here. 1000 per month.
Average downloads - 1.7-1.8 GB per day.If i dont browse and only download then 2.09GB .Yaaaaay!!

u sure its 128k?
coz 1.8Gb-2GB is not possible with a 128k connection.
128kbps=16KB/s MAX Dload speed.
16KB in 1 sec
so,960KB in 60 secs
so,57600KB in 36000 secs
so in 1 hr 56.25MB,
therefore,in 24hrs 1350MB Max.
hehe..not trying to be smart but juzz....................:)
 
he might be correct.I have a 10-10 iqara night angel plan (10-10 256Kb/s), i d'load about 1.4GB in 12Hrs.See screenshot.
so the same amount of data transfer in double time+half bandwidth seems correct to me.

 
Net4india is really good. 43 Gb in 20 days (their client displays this)

Sometimes connection spikes to 60kBps :)

Back in mumbai, i was happy with my 64kbps broadband for 800 bucks.
 
thanks for the link. My subscription with relienace gets over next month and they're charging 22000 for a 256 kbps line for a year....exatt seems better. Any of you guys who use exatt here can tell me if their service is good. i download a lot and since i use the linux os my comp is on for days. so are their unlimited download schemes worth it?

now waiting when airtel is gona increase thier speed i am having currently 512kb/s night unlimited and paying Rs550 (including taxes) for it
 
in adsl the only speed spikes thatcould occur is if they set you at that high speed

like my friend who has a 256kbps Night unlimited triband.. was set up at 512 kbps yesterday for a good whole day!!!

he`s back to 256kbps now though :)

Just wanted to tell you guys,

When bombay was flooded na, i was getting like 250-300[KB]ps !!!!

For like 2 weeks !!!! Went crazy dloading ...
