Hi guys,
I set up my new motherboard (Asus STRIX B550-F Gaming) with my existing CPU Ryzen 9 3900X.
I got a Corsair QL120 RGB 3-pack and one ML120 Pro.
Two of the QL120s and the ML120 are connected to a DeepCool FH-04 Fan hub. The remaining QL120 is configured as the rear exhaust and connected to the CPU_OPT header.
The fan hub is connected to a Chassis fan 4 pin connector.
The power draw of each QL120 is 0.3 Amp and the ML120 is 0.22 A so they don't exceed the 1 Amp limit of the mobo header.
Now the funny thing is that the RPM of the 3 fans connected to the fan hub do not show up in the BIOS. I have set the fan profile in Q-Fan to manual curve and PWM mode.
I am not sure how to fix this. Any pointers guys?
I figured out that the fan hub port no. 1 is the only one exposed to PWM control. Attached one of the fans to Port 1 and all 3 fans started showing up in CHA_FAN3 in the BIOS.
