I really love techenclave style old school forums. They are friendly, inclusive and we actually get answers, have real discussions. Places like reddit and stackoverflow are soo toxic and annoying.
So to support such forums, I turn off my adblocker. However ads on techenclave have issues:
- take too much screen real estate
- screw up dark layout
- constant presence
Have to enable adblock !
Suggestions:
1. For registered users have text based ads, and no fixed ads.
2. Consider a paid ad-free option. Now that I earn well, I will be happy to support such a place
