Monitors Final Monitor Suggestion

Radeon

Adept
Dear friends,

I've narrowed down my choice to two monitors the one is Samsung P2350 (23") Full HD and the other one is Dell ST 2410 (24") Full HD. Please vote, all suggestions / opinions / thoughts are very much welcome. If you feel I should be better off with any other monitor please do let me know.

Dell ST 2410

Thank you friends.

I would vote for Benq G2420 HD over Samsung P2350.
Samsung P2350 is in real a 22.5" Screen Panel.G2420HD has EXACT 24" of work space as mentioned on the box and tech specs.
P2350- no hdmi, G2420 - has Hdmi.
P2350 seems to have Blacklight Bleeding while Benq one wins here.
P2350 wins when it comes to looks.

It should cost around 11k. At this price, its a steal IMHO.
Oh, that's great, I will definitely look into it. Can you please tell me any differences between G2420HD and E2420HD?

Sahil, what about Rahul's comments in regards to the screen size for G2420 HD?. If the difference is only USB Ports and Speakers then I will go with G2420 HD. But I would really want a complete 24" viewable area monitor.

Go for G2420HD. Take my word, you wont regret. Got them in Feb from SMC for 10.5k odd, the price should have relatively come down since then.

As far as I know/found out the older versions of G2420 i.e G2412 had size of 23.6" G2420 is full 24". I am not sure of this.

But the size of G2420 is same as any of its 24" counnterparts :p

I would recommend G2420 HD.The speakers of E2420 arent any good and why would one need usb ports on a monitor :p

1 month back i was also hunting for G2420 and at that time price was 10600/-

but didnt able to find it in nehru place and in entire delhi..

so bought samsung p2350 in 10800/-

Ghosting is a big concern for me, are you sure it does not have enough ghosting? I can purchase Dell ST 2410 for Rs. 9000/-. Your thoughts please?

Nope, ST 2410 for 9K, but I think I'll go with Samsung one because of red colored body and aesthetics.

are there any decent 16:10 options ? you should look at some 16:10 monitors (22inch) before finalizing your decision.
What would you recommend.
