Firefox developed Amnesia

Since yesterday my firefox has developed amnesia, it does not remember anything. Cookies are not being read i suppose, all the websites that i usually visit, i have passwords saved, including torrents and forum sites, so i sort of never used to type password. But since yesterday, even checking the 'remember me' on all sites, the next day it again forgets that and i need to re-login everywhere including TE.

What can be the issue ???
 
clear the cache and see if it works. sometimes ff behaves weird if cache is full or some update has just been installed.

Hmmm, which version you running? (I'm using 3.5.5)

And no, I wasn't talking about the remember history option.

Do you have those sites you visit, bookmarked?

If so, export your bookmarks, download the latest version of FF and get them back. Saved history will be lost though.

That's a possibility.
 
I was facing the same problem.

Basically your cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted, and here is how you can go about fixing it:-

FF 3.xx users - Close FF and delete the cookies.sqlite file from your profiles folder and start FF. It should work fine now.
