A red panda doesnt sport a snout like the fox does nor is it so large in size.
The term firefox, as used to describe the Red Panda, has been propagated by its use in the web browser Mozilla Firefox, although the browser logotype is a fox with its tail on fire as opposed to a Red Panda.
I thought the name firefox is common to both ! Ah well...........we are going offtopic !saumilsingh said:Vulps Vulpes's common name is Red Fox
Whereas Ailurus Fulgens's common name is Firefox itself.
