forgive my ignorance... sirs.... im new to this.... does this tech forum only deals with computers... and software..... no place for mechanical stuff??? i request the people concerned to have something related to other forms of technology.... (xclusively)....... well im am a wannabe computer science student.... forced into production engg by fate......
 
we are basically a tech forum. but u cud discuss all ur non-tech (computer) ideas too.. start a discussion and ppl will share their views and ideas too.. :)

If ur a wannabe COMPUTER student rofl, dont u WANNABE in a computer/tech thread instead of starting threads like this???

why dont u start new threads in chatterbits section... tats the place i use for creating threads which do not fit in other sections.. :)
also, i think there are many ppl here, which like u, like computers, but are forced into some other profession..and so i m sure they will reply and discuss with u ;)
 
Wish tifosi ceases to be personal... well thats right im a wanna be computer guy... who always found compu's the strangest behaving speceies on the planet.... what i wanted to ask was ... Does a tech forum necessarily deal only with computer stuff..... Technology implicates everythin.... I just wanted to ask whetehr a special section cud be created for other branches aswell(just a request .. mind u).... Thus substantiating... the word"tech forum".... pray reply... :huh:
 
well, godfather, too many forums n subforums makes a forum community so much cluttered.. u just post threads, lets see how much responses comes.. :)
mayb such sub forums are not created coz there are no threads created by members, tat can be classified into a seperate section..
 
I guess that rational being followed by us and and as a general rule is that "Create when necessary". As BD said creating more forums with less no of posts would be not a good idea. Same way a forum which focuses on too many topic would also not be good. Post your queries in the forum you think is the best suited for the topic and moderators are there anyway to reroute the post to another forum incase required.

well forums are not just for posting.. its for reading what others post too.. right!! so i just wondered whether this forum.. cud be a pure breed engg forum... thats it.. not that i wanted to post any mech stuff
