Hello guys..

Can anyone pls suggest a better processor and motherboard for (more than average) Gaming and (about average)Video conversion/editing.

My requirements:

1. Motherboard - 5k

2. Processor - 5k

3. Cabinet - 1.5k

4. PSU - 2.5k to 3k (Max).

My budget for these two are Rs. 14k to 15k.

My preference:

1. AMD Phenom X2 or Athlon X4 or Intel i3

As extra cache L3 will be helpful for gaming and Quad core will help in video editing/ conversion I dont know which to choose.

I have chosen:

1. RAM - DDR3 2GB Corsair or kingston - 2.8k

2. HDD - 500GB Seagate - 2.5k

3. GPU - DX11. Will buy later.- 5k

4. Monitor - Samsung 20" 2033 - 7.5k

Cost: For these ~Rs.13k. Can it be reduced?

Please provide the best config for my requirements.

For ur usage, Athlon II X4 630 is better. Its no slouch in gaming and will rip apart any Dual core in video editing and conversion !
