I was amazed by the Price (Rs 4,950) of an NF4 motherboard mentioned there namely the Foxconn WinFast NF4UK8AA-8EKRS (details here

isnt that a dirt cheap price for an NF4 mobo. the MSI rs480 one's are for 5200 & other NF4 mobo;s liek A8nE are Plus 8500 so this surely is a great deal.

Foxconn is a reputed oem companies, To my knowledge i guess all Asus & intel motherboards use the CPU & RAM sockets from Foxconn only.

But where will this mobo be available -- can some guyz check its availability & post. It'd be great if someone can source it in Delhi.
 
Yep its a great value motherboard.
Much better than that other NF4 mobo from foxconn.
A good option for those looking to run their CPUs at stock speeds.

hehe sli means sli tax :P. The chipset itself costs nearly twice the ultra chipset... inspite of it being the same hardware. Thats why the ultra-d is 130$ and the SLI-d is 165$ inspite of being exactly the same.
 
new bios too allows upto max 220-230 stable.
Same as without multiplier.
With clockgen you can go higher. but vcore will soon start restricting.
 
yes. But there are couple of reviews that tested the vcore and it does not increase as it should when you set in bios. It simply does not take effect.
No matter what you do on this board it dosent go much higher than 220-230 max.

LOL thats really stupid of the bios programmers :bleh: . I guess they need to hire someone with better skills :)
 
Amazing price for poeple who want a low cost high performing machine. With this board you get this :

AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice - 8.5k
Foxconn nForce 4 Motherboard- 5k
6600GT - 9k

Total - 21~22k

Great for a Proccy, Mobo, GFX upgrade...
 
If you guys havent noticed, i have posted the same board, ages before when i put my Venice up for sale in the market section.

i guess that was the theme of the thread -- this motherboard serves for those who wanna turn on to Futuristic 939 & PCI-E platform without loosening the Pocket much--
U wont see nf4 & hence AMD64 much around in the Corporate & Normal user level cos it costs around 7000(3500 extra for mobo & 3000 for Gfx card) more as compared to intel 915 platform that comes integrated with the GMA one - pls i know it isnt enough for guyz here -- but then we only contribute to the 5-7% of the total PC users mind that --

this mobo can be put forward as a nice combo compared to the intel 915 platform

Yep I remember the thread. You were offering a good combo with the proc + board. (EDIT : Here's the thread - http://www.techenclave.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4779&highlight=foxconn)

Saw the same today and remembered this has been around for a while. Perhaps you should've done a review on it , so people could guage how well the board would suit them! :)

My Bangalore dealer has it in stock. He's selling for 5.1k, that's the price he quoted to me, otherwise about 5.3 ~ 5.4k
