THE FACT - A Lufthansa 747-400 and a United 757-200 are on a simultaneous landing approach on the parallel runways 28L and 28R at SFO.
THE STAT-Real runway separation is 225 meters.
THE EFFECT -Due to the telephoto distortion, the Jumbo 747 being 3 times larger than the 757 and being behind it, gives us this fantastic optical illusion that they are flying inches from each other!!!

CONCLUSIVE RESULT- Greatest Freak Show/Reality scene of a Airtime disaster case,enough to give u thosegoose bumps!

this can happen because the wings of the 747 are not straight.

Ask any Photoshop pro like either of the DD's... Their word will be good enuf, I think :P.
 
yup it is real , they are actually quite a safe distance apart ,its just an optical illusion that they are near

I had seen this one sometime back :)

Just 2 Mind that- The FREAK Show turned out Lucky,But disaster DOES HAPPEN!
& to Conclude - "TRUTH is ALWAYS STRANGER than FICTION" *remember that!!!
 
The pic is real, it just LOOKS like there symultaniously landing because of the angle, a bigger object behind a smaller object will looks like its really close to it because of its size.But actually, those planes are at a safe distance away frome ach other, say about 100 meters apart.
