Just got the FreeAgent Desktop 500 GB external drive. Looks sweet :D

Didn't research the purchase before ordering and read really awful reviews just yesterday regarding stability :( . So, won't be using for storage, just backups. It's got 5 years warranty :hap2: . Cost me 8800.

lolz after reading the thread title first i thought u got a 500 gb external HDD for free...den i realized that it was da name...

Thanks for pointing out the prices. Going to negotiate a better price 2moro. Actually I buy from this dealer quite a lot and didn't cross check prices. Saw this same model (Seagate) selling for less then 7k on e-bay! I'm being stiffed :mad: .
