Please note that all magazines are free and you will not be charged anything for them. However not all of them are available internationally. A word about ORACLE Magazine,

I am a subscriber to this magazine. They ship this magazine to every individual personally in book form FREE or in mail brouchure in PDF form. Printed form book is being shipped quarterly from Chennai.

It does have info about new oracle courses and technological improvements in using ORACLE products. Nothing else.

Any body can subscribe it to it by visiting the link provided by SAFIN.

I have got that issue clarified even before featuring the magazines here and i have again clarified it. This is the response.

We collect data for the publishers for both fulfillment reasons as well as qualification reasons. The publishers only use this data in order to see if the subscriber qualifies for the publication and where to send it to. The only time a subscriber will receive future emails from TradePub.com is if they opt-in to our database by saying that they would like to receive emails about new titles being available. If this becomes a problem for them, they can opt-out at any time.

Plus i have been informed that your personal information is wiped from the database as soon as you are shown as "not qualified" or "qualified" for the free magazine. You should appreciate the fact that privacy laws are extremely strict in US and TradePub can be taken to court if there is a violation on those laws.

Well it simply means that based on the responses you gave, the company didn't find you suitable for the "free magazine subscription". Why they did that i cannot say. Compare this to a private beta test program. For an international rollout a company will have certain set of requirements, "people of certain age", "demography", "Company you are working" etc etc. Once a particular group is full, more applications fulfilling the same criteria would be rejected. Remember this is a free issue. The company has the right to decide who qualifies. As i already said your private data is not stored and is used ONLY for evaluation of your eligibility.

The issue is that cutting edge magazines from different niche areas is being provided free of charge because the company's think that you can benefit from the same and in the end can bring benefit for the advertisers of the magazine. If the magazine publishers don't think your application can justify returns, i think its their prerogative.

ps: tradepub has informed me that a significant number of people have been passed for this particular magazine from TechEnclave so maybe you are a bit late for filling up the form based on your profile. I am myself a subscriber to one of the magazines so the magazines definitely deliver to India.

This thing is featured on TE for some days now so you should have tried to fill this up sooner. By now since the offer is shown on most major programming websites, a lot of testers have already signed up.

If a newer offer comes along i will put a feature call here again. (Btw a lot of magazines are added there daily so its a good idea to browse through the newly added list. There are some gems out there, sadly available only for US though )

Yea..most of the good ones are not available for us Indians I wouldnt have minded print-editions for some of them like PC World! But no luck !!
