Iam interested! Does it include any small cabinet? Please post some pics.

Cant include the cabby..it's an upgrade for me, right ;)

The pics of the completed setup are in the last link on the original post.

Fixing the cabinet in the car took a lot of effort, so I don't want to dismantle it before someone is seriously interested. :)

The size of the board is 17cm X 17 cm (1/2 the size of a micro ATX)

This link should give an idea of the size:

Greenie, let me try find a linky to the board

IIRC, you have a fluctuating power problem issue at home so you get an added advantage with this board *more shameless marketing warning*

If you drive it off a 12V battery (no need for UPS), the system can run for several hours before shutting itself down automatically when the battery voltage goes below the drain limit, and can restart itself automatically when the battery starts charging again

no re, me also thinking of getting my own carputer :p

could you by any chance help me source a touchscreen for this :ashamed:

Installing it is still gonna be an issue...

touchscreen prices are still at arnd the $250 mark in the US and 11K at iride :(

the fact I am trying to sell this thingie apart, I still feel it's a good fit for your file server/download rig since the setup draws sub 20W at idle, can be entirely fanless and can run straight off a 12V battery

it does have PCI ports so you can always attach a SATA controller if you are keen on SATA

OT = yeah, unfortunately, the price of a TS monitor is whats stopping my Car-PC plans for now, although am doing some readinh up as to how to create ur own TS monitor, shudnt be that difficult coz u just need basic pointing features and not handwriting recognition /OT :p

Would be interested if you are selling the whole carputer as one unit. I know that's not what you have posted, but should you decide to sell it as a whole (with or without the touchscreen), I would be interested.

btw are you on team-bhp?
