My massive leap into ATI Club... bought the Powercolor HD 5850 card a few days back and here it is basking in all it's glory (with the un-boxing pic ;)):

Been playing BC2, Splinter Cell Conviction and it's been smooth as silk gameplay. There is one con however, I've been solely bunking office for some quality gameplay hours at home! Lovin' it! :p

A corsair VX450 would even support a moderate quad system with a 5870 also but u may be pushing the limits of the VX450

I'm using a VX 550 PSU. Yes, the HD 5850 will run on your VX 450 since it's not a major power hog. Just get yourself a 6-pin converter for the VX 450 and your good to go.
