- Will be buying new Win 7 HP 64 bit license as well. So would prefer suggestions with taking OS price also in mind.
- Due to some budget constraints, will be buying HDD, cabby, PSU, RAM and Mainboard first.
- If GPU + CPU are available on sites which offer EMI with some 400-500 bucks extra then normal cost, I wont mind going for it.
- Also I have had very uncomfortable experiences on price POV at CTC hyderabad every time , so it's gonna be my last resort for price inquiry. Mostly I will be buying online only.
Some dealers I have in mind are smc, prime, and other registered dealers at tE here.

Bit Fenix Merc Alpha ~2600/- (from Bhumika Peripheral, CTC Basement)

Sapphire 7870 OC Edition : 19046
WD Caviar Green 1 TB 7200rpm 6Gbps 64MB cache : 4541
==> Going with this instead seagate coz more warranty period.
Seasonic S12II 620W : 5348
==> Going with this instead of 520W, if 520 is sufficient for 7870 OC + other components will go with it.
Corsair 300R : 4340
==> Going with this due to ATX Mobo, and nice 2 side fan slots and upper fan slot instead of bitfenix merc alpha
LG DVD Drive : 1035
==> Later on gonna install BD drive.
Win 7 Home premium : 6775


Total comes to 63732.


Will add case fans once everything is purchased.

@crossbow the Seasonic S12II 520W will be sufficient for your need as you are not capable of over-clocking the CPU.

Rest all checks out, try to arrange for a Corsair Carbide 400R if possible instead of the 300R.

1) Intel Core i5 3550 FCLLGA1155 : 12.8K
2) Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H : 4.3K
3) G.skill RipjawsX 2 X 4GB 1 DDR3-1600/PC3-12800 : 3.2K
4) Seasonic S12II 520W : 4.4K
5) WD 1TB WD10EARX : 4.2K

Now following components are remaining
1) GPU : I am considering from below 2, which one should I buy?
- Sapphire AMD HD 7870 2GB GDDR5 Flex Edition 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card - 19.5K
- MSI NVIDIA N660 TF 2GD5/OC 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card - 16.8K

- Main games I am gonna play are Black ops 2 (n00b MP fan), MOH War-fighter, BF3-Next BF may be. 660 definitely edges in BF3 and MOH considering price POV and performance POV too (anandtech comparison). But I do not know how well it performs under "non-cuda" games, specially COD. From what I read on different places like tomsHW, anandtech, etc, performance-wise hierarchy is 7850 < 660 < 7870 ( < 660 ti ?).
- Photoshop and after effects usage is there too. Could not find much concrete comparison between my desired cards.

Some budget restrictions are there too, else would have definitely gone with 7950.
And I have always had bad experience at CTC, so I am considering it purchasing online only.

2) Cabinet : Decided with 400R, but not available locally or on FK.
- Now this was already decided. But due to unavailability, I choose to purchase cabby locally. So any other Mid-Tower you guys can suggest?
- Also Will GA-B75M-D3H support additional case fans? If not, How will add additional case fans If I go with cabby like 400R?

3) OS : Now this is one major issue, as Win 8 is already out, but Still sold as upgrade
- Wanted to go with Win 7 Home Premium, but Since Win 8 is already out, Where can I get non-upgrade copy of it, I mean full edition ? Will it be worth buying Win 8 right now?
- And Win 7 HP license on FK is 7.5K 0_o. Should I go with Win 7 Basic? But again if Win 8 is good, will there be upgrade option from Win 7 Basic to Win 8?
- Any other place locally / online from where I can inquire about it?

4) Monitor : This was not part of purchase, But Wify gets angry If I attach my lappy to TV and play games
- So Thinking of getting one Monitor too. Now budget for it 8K-9K max. And not good 23' 24' monitor will be available in that range.
- So thinking of going with Dell ST2220L. 9.2K on flipkart. May find cheaper locally. Office admin has good contact with Dell wala sales ka aadmi :devil: Is it a good choice ?
 
Congrats on the purchase,Here are answers to your questions-
1.Gaming wise you'd go with Sapphire HD7870 over GTX660,Although GTX660 edges HD7870 in BF3 you'll over 60FPS with HD7870 which is good enough to run a game without lag,HD7870 edges GTX660 in other Non-CUDA games.If you're going to work hard on photoshop OR After effects then CUDA will help you so that way GTX660 would be a better fit,it's your call.
2.You'll have 1 processor fan header and 1 External fan header on Gigabyte B75M D3H,You can connect more than 1 fans then you'd have to connect it via connector to psu.
3.Don't have much idea about Windows 8 but i think you'd wait till you get full upgraded windows 8.
4.For 8-9k budget Dell ST2220L is a very good monitor,Go with that.

Thanks #Jakob . Mainly I am gonna Play black ops 2 for a long duration. And benches for that are not yet out. Now I am feeling that ATI will perform good then Nvidia counterpart for that game.

On second thought I am thinking to get MSI 7850 PE 2GB. Reason behind it is, budget, I have to add monitor as well. And including monitor and OS, overall budget is shooting stars.

Another reason I am thinking is If I get 21.5' monitor, anyways I can game at 1366 X 768 res. And for that 7850 is fo sure gonna get decent ~50 FPS in almost all games with Good settings. (at least 2XAA, 8XFA)

it's available for ~15K. While locally 7870 is available for ~20K. Now after seeing comparison (AnandTech - Bench - GPU12) 7870 fo sure
edges in almost all depts, but by 15-20%. So should it make sense to get 7850 ?

Power consumption under load is also good, but that's obvious being a cheaper card.

Later on I can crossfire. But for that I will need to change MoBo also. Coz GA-B75M-D3H comes with only 1 x16 PCIE slot. And another one running at x4.

Considering all this, for now I am only thinking about ATI- 7850 or 7870. So main question is 7850 makes sense?

And I was able to find Corsair 400R at 5K locally, which I think should be good deal.

Oh ya, one more thing, forgot to ask. Will 7850 or 7870 OC with my config?
