Well better for OP then. The SMC International page states that the MSi HD7950 3GB is available for ~24000/- MSI R7950-2PMD3GD5/OC.

I don't know how you are saying that the LOGITECH G100 is better than the MICROSOFT Sidewinder X4, the only thing it has is extra macro keys, which no one uses until they are an MMORPG fan. The X4 has a higher NKRO rating and is cheaper for a similar build quality and I do not know where the G110 is available in India?

flipkart.com is selling the G110 for ~4500/-.

Thanks a lot for your reply guys.

Intel Core i5 3450 ~12500/-

This comes out to be 86400. This still leaves me with 14000 :happy26:

Can I drop the SSD and spend more on other components like processor, graphics card and the motherboard ? Does SSD give notable performance boost ?

Also my dealer said he does not have Dell U2312 M available at the moment, I can ask other dealers but what do you guys say about Dell ST2420L? What is the difference between these too ?

How about this (with the prices quoted by my dealer):
Intel Core i5 3570k : 15,000/-
ASUS MAXIMUS GENE-V : 16000/-
G.Skill RIPJAWS 4GB x2 : 3400/-
Seagate Barracuda 1TB : 5000/-
Optical drive [DVD] : 1050/-
nVidia GTX 670: 28000/-
Dell ST2420L : 13,500/-
Cooler Master HAF 922 : 8200/-
Corsair TX v2750W : 7000/-
LOGITECH G400 ~1500/- (Price not sure)
MICROSOFT Sidewinder X4 ~2000/ (Price not sure)
APC BR1100VA-IN ~5000/- (Price not sure)

Total:105650 :p

What do you guys say about this ?

@l0l2 you can go for the following changes --

Intel Core i5 3550 ~13500/- [slightly higher clocked processor]
Corsair Force GT 180GB SSD ~10500/- [yes SSD's improve the performance of the system by reducing the boot time and loading times in games (if you install OS and games on the SSD)]
Corsair TX v2650W ~5800/- [will be enough for your needs, no need to spend extra on 750W SMPS]
Corsair Carbide 400R ~5500/- [better cable routing than the Cooler Master HAF 922, forward USB 3.0 slots and cheaper too]
You can go for the nVidia GTX670 over the AMD HD7950 3GB
DeLL U2312M is an eIPS panel based monitor while the ST2420L is an TN-panel based monitor, the colour accuracy and viewing angles are better on the former while the latter has a wider screen ~24" compared to 23".
Here is a comparison --> LCD Panel Technology - S-IPS, VA, Super PLS and TN Monitors

The video explains the difference in performance of the two panels.

No need to go for a Core i5 3570k and accompanying Z77 based motherboard as you are not over-clocking your system. Also I think it will be better if you can save cash in such uncertain times.

Rest all components are fine. Cheerio!

P.S. -- none of these prices are inclusive taxes so factor that as well into the price.

ALPHA17 loved your post

Which motherboard will you guys suggest if I am going with a non "K" processor? Also what are you views on this card: Asus GTX 670 Direct CU II
Also any need of cooler accessories if I am not overclocking ?

Thank you for your kind words.

I will suggest that you go for the GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H, it is available on flipkart.com for less than ~4500/-.

You can go for that card no issues, here are a few reviews --> ASUS GTX 670 DirectCu II TOP Review | Hardware Canucks / HARDOCP - Introduction - ASUS GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP Video Card Review.

No you need not invest in a CPU cooler, if things heat up start a thread here. Just bump this thread up.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

i Would Suggest you 120gb ssd 3 series corsair and that too it will cost you 6500/-

The OCZ Vertex4 is a better performer, more reliable and OCZ has a faster turn-over rate for its firmware than Corsair. Here are benchmarks for both the products -- AnandTech - Bench - SSD (OCZ Vertex4 on firmware 1.5) / AnandTech - Bench - SSD (OCZ vertex4 on firmware 1.4).

If OP needs a Corsair SSD, the Force GT series is a better buy, 180GB ~10500/-.
@l0l2 another thing that slipped my mind earlier, with the saved up money you can invest in a legit copy of Windows 7 Professional / Ultimate. Cheerio!

@Ray, OP has clearly stated no over-clocking, then what is the need to spend extra on a -k marked processor and Z77 chipset based motherboard.

Also the Corsair TX v2650W is certainly not enough to power a GTX680, OP needs a TX v2750W to be on the safe side of things.

well with that budget OP should definitely go for the gtx 680 and buy necessary components to match it..... did not notice he said no to over clocking .....get an i5 and a max 7k mobo and spend more on gpu ,ram and monitor

An SSD will be better than just a 'large monitor'. The long bootup and loading times (for applications) will be history.

Most games these days run fine on a dual-core + 4GB RAM (dual-channel) + HD6770 OR better graphics card. Do not know, why this craze with ultra-powerful RIG's these days?

Intel Core i5 3450 ~12500/- [Core i5, proper quad-core]
GIGABYTE-B75M-D3H ~4500/- [motherboard is ~2500/- below your 7000/- mark]
Corsair Vengeance 4GB x2 1600MHz ~3600/- [8GB RAM]
AMD HD7950 2GB ~25500/- OR GTX670 ~28000/- [powerful graphics card only bested by the HD7970 and nVidia GTX680 + lot of over-clocking potential]
Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB ~4800/- [large hard-drive to dump stuff]
OCZ Vertex4 128GB SSD ~8100/- [SSD to speed up]
HP optical drive ~1000/- [optical drive what to explain here]
Corsair TX v2650W ~5800/- [good, reliable SMPS to power the shiny new stuff]
Corsair Carbide 400R ~5500/- [nice cabinet to stash stuff, comes with 2x front USB 3.0 ports]
DeLL U2312M ~15000/- [nice IPS-panel monitor]
APC BR1100VA-IN ~5000/- [back-up when the power leaves you in a lurch]
LOGITECH G400 ~1500/- [gaming mouse]
MICROSOFT Sidewinder X4 ~2000/- [gaming keyboard]
Already suggested OP this configuration, do not see anything wrong with it.

If you feel anything is amiss please point out.

Hay, isnt everyone here forgetting about audio?
atleast get a surround headphone if you are going to watch movies and play games.
As i see you have 16 k extra get the edifier s550. Its arounf 19k .

Thanks for adding that Sire, I already quite vocally state that I am *cough cough* unreliable *cough cough* source for audio peripherals.

Well I think I will try hands on overclocking 4-5 months down the line so think I will go with a "K" processor.
Also Z77 mobo have lots of other features than H77 mobo in case I want to go for a multi GPU setup later.

Need your guys suggestions on these:
Motherboard Asrock extreme 4 it has a lower price than P8Z77M Pro and features are nice
Monitor U2312 HM or Benq G2420 or Dell STL 2320 or Dell STL 2420 please suggest
SMPS Corsair TX 650V2, will it be fine if I want to add a GPU later
GPU Asus GTX 670 Direct CU II or Zotac 670 AMP or GTX 680 :p
