Gateway and subnet mask for Railwire

If we choose to add a static IP, what subnet mask and default gateway values need to be entered for Railwire ?

The IP address is your IP address, the subnet gives information of which IPs belong to your local network and do not need a gateway and gateway is your upstream router, similar to what your devices use the LAN router IP (usually 192.168.x.1) as the upstream gateway.

With a static IP, the IP is fixed and does not change, while it may (usually)/may not change with a dynamic IP.

If I use my router's IP as 192.168.1.100, that is default gateway ?

No need to enter anything to subnet mask then ?

Ask your ISP what are the settings. You need all 3 - IP, Subnet and GW.

DNS is needed as well, but you can use Google DNS - 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 or L3 4.2.2.2 (change last digit from 1-6) or Quad9 DNS 9.9.9.9 instead of whatever Railwire tells you...

In my case all settings are already in router then what else? The thing is ip lease got some time value and have already spoken with them before, no statistic ip options.
