Getting Nikon P100 for 14K.. Good deal?

Hi Friends,

I am getting a 6 month old Nikon P100 for around 14K (depending on negotiation). I need your suggestion to make sure if this is a good deal.

More information on the deal:
- There is no original box or bill
- The seller says he got it from Japan ( I am not sure if the international warranty would be there using the serial no... Can somebody throw light on this?)
- The camera is in mint condition, as per him only 500 clicks so far (will collect the camera in person so will check the condition)
Need quick suggestions if I should go ahead with this deal or not. I am tempted!

it might be a grey market one..it will be very risky bcz ur saving 4to 5k that's it. If the seller is trustworthy then you can go ahead otherwise get it from ebay or smartshoppers
 
Thanks for the suggestions guys..

I had a call with the seller, and he says its a genuine piece not the one from grey market.

Also I forgot to mention in the first post, he is also giving 16 GB memory card and a carry bag (which he says costed him 4500 bucks)

but still with out bill you can buy from grey market only. i dont think its good to go for. You can get Panasonic FZ35( new one FZ45

) for around 16k . its really an awesome camera. Chk out in grey market first what is the price of P100 then take a call.
