Gigabyte to have two overclocked GTX 560 Ti cards

We already said that the upcoming GTX 560 Ti will be a great overclocker and that we might see an impressive factory overclock with these cards. It looks like our sources were right on the money with this info as the leaked Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti OC and GTX 560 Ti SO clocks are set at 900MHz and 1000MHz for the GPU.

Thanks to an asian retail/e-tail shop, we now have first details regarding the upcoming factory overclocked GTX 560 Ti cards and according to the leaked info, Gigabyte will have two factory OCed cards, the GTX 560 Ti OC and the GTX 560 Ti SO, both equipped with Gigabyte's Windforce 2X dual-fan cooler.

Both cards are based on Nvidia's GF114 GPU and feature 384 CUDA cores, 1GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 256-bit memory interface and support for DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.1, Nvidia SLI, CUDA, PhysX, Pure Video, and 3D Vision. The first one, GV-N560OC-1GI works at 900MHz for the GPU, 1800MHz for shaders, and 4000MHz for the 1GB of GDDR5 memory. The other one, GV-N560SO-1GI is set at 1000MHz for the GPU, 2000MHz for shaders and 4580MHz for the same amount of GDDR5 memory.

Both cards will feature two DVI and mini HDMI outputs and will need two 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors. The price on the site says 1899,00 and 2099,00 yuan which roughly translates to about US $290 and US $320, which means that those reference cards should end up a bit cheaper.

The other one, GV-N560SO-1GI is set at 1000MHz for the GPU, 2000MHz for shaders and 4580MHz for the same amount of GDDR5 memory.

And I have a good feeling at 1GHz core and 4500Mhz memory, this card will match GTX570 and HD6970 for good.

The Price Of This Card Is $320 :(... So i think that this card will launch in india with a price tag of around 19 to 20k :(

I say at the least we'll see a funky new cooling set-up like the ASUS CU II GTX 580.
i was expecting gtx560 to launch for around 250 dollars in the U.S.A... :(

I think they are confident that the 560 can atleast cripple the HD 6950 or completely demolish it, or nVidia is over-extending as it did with the GTX 465 really short lived card :). So like Bulldozer patience is the virtue.

No, you see the GTX460 OC 850Mhz editions take on HD6950. So I think the reference GTX560 will compete with HD6970. GTX560 OC will be > HD6970. And lets hope GTX560 SOC beats the GTX570 by a good margin too, the GF114 core is much more promising than GF110 to me.

Reference cards should be cheaper the quote itself mentions same. I am guessing 270$ there. Hoping it to be around 15k here :|

^^^^Already happening, look at GCard section

HD6970 1GB to cost 279$, thats cheaper than GTX560 already(maybe equal to reference)

what is the power requirements for these beast?
The Card hasn't launched yet so i can't tell u how much power it will consume... But i think it will require 2 PCI-E 6 Pin power Connector :)
