Forum Feedback Giving feedback for trade without a sale/buy thread?

Hi,

I recently completed a trade with @Dunce on this forum (here). The trade went smoothly and I've received the goods in working order. However since I kinda hijacked someone else's thread I cannot give feedback regarding the trade. How should I go ahead?

I appreciate your input, however I believe feedback exchange should still be allowed as trade was done via the forums and as it is virtually indistinguishable from us making a WTB thread and replying to it for the sack of formality.

Trade done via the forums mean either you have a WTB thread or you purchase an item from a Marketplace listing. Otherwise everyone will have the freedom to buy/sell anywhere and everywhere and start building their rep. The rules are there for a reason. Please go through them once.
Also understand that, this is a Technology forum first and a marketplace later.

Once I had a deal with a member who I knew from previous sales so we both were confident that the members on both ends is genuine. He saw my post on a forum and messaged me but forgot to make a WTB thread so once the deal was complete we decided not to exchange feedback because we don't want to bend the rules even though it all started here on the forum, doesn't change the fact that we should follow the rules as those are for members safity else no one cares what 2 individuals do mutually.

If allowed, it will become very difficult to control dummy feedbacks and feedback points will lose meaning
