Audio Good Mid-Range Earphone <3k

Brainwavz M3 if budget can be stretched upto 3.9k. Nothing beats it in the price range. Under 3k , I could've suggested you the M2 but it has more emphasis on the bass compared to mids and treble. Not that the mids are recessed , they are pretty warm and smooth sounding and even treble is detailed but the bass delivers plenty of punch and sub bass :).

Other than that the Head Direct RE-2 is one IEM which lays a lot of emphasis on good mids and highs and less emphasis on the lows , but it isn't in the same league as the M2/M3 in terms of detailing . 1-2 tiers lower .
 
Budget is strictly under 3K no other option

BTW earphones needs to be used with Xperia X10
 
Sorry to piggy back on your thread dinjo. I am also in the same dilemma. Looking for decent in-earphones for around 3K.

I will be using them for my iPod classic and HTC Desire HD phone.

I'd say M3 if you can extend your budget, you could also take a look at the member's market to get it at a cheaper price.

But if 3k is the maximum, then go for M2.
