Google Earth - Can it be used offline

Hi Folks,
I am on BSNL 500 plan and have night UL 2-8AM
Is there a way, i can dump google earth contents on my pc and use it offline whenever i want to...
ie, download the streams during 2-8 am

Have not tried myself....hope they've not modified google earth since then and it still works that way

When u r offline u'll be able to see the places which are already in the cache....but u wont be able to get details for new places...
