With superb graphic details and real time simulation of the path, its a must try.
Actually the servers of google were closed for new users for some time so i didn't put this earlier. Anyway today morning it seems they are open again. This software is in beta so grab it while you can lest google closes its servers again.

(i may add the best of the details right now in free version are for the cities in US. For other countries it may not be as detailed. But even then the amount of detail you see in real time is mind blowing :ohyeah:

yeah, but dint google temporarily stop the downloads?...i was trying to d/l this a week back..and d/l used to stop after 32kb for some reason :(

I supposrt google..... they do everything first and then others copy them...... Am doanloading the google earth..... how big is it???
 
i don't think its about who does first. If msn has better service and better clarity, people will go there. And i have to say msn virtual earth does look better though have to beta test it to say for sure.

and yes both are(or will be as msn virtual earth is a preview) free although you have paid versions also with more features

Google earth is 10Mb in size ! Yeah u need a good connection to stream the images quickly. Btw its not much useful for us Indians since only major places in india are mapped.
 
And I tried Bangalore through google and the detail is sad..... didn't like it much...... am going to download MSN now......
 
Those pics are really stunning.
Both of these looks similar to NASA WhirlWind which does the same functions I believe.
 
How do I search for a specific thing??? Like I am not able to find the eiffel tower or the Lovre museum in Paris..... How do I do it?? If I search for Eiffel Tower, I get no results....
 
i searched "Paris" and it automatically zoomed into paris.

The details of americann cites are awesome...u can make out the colors of their cars parked in front of their houses :O
The Eiffel....er..shadow? :P ... the search thing isnt working either...i zoomed on to paris n searched for eiffel..no result :bleh:

 
It is awesome ! Stunning ! I found my village !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Images are taken from Earth Sat, I thought only the Pentagon had access to that ! Google is doing a great job by providing such technology to citizens like us !

BTW, I am downloading a FREE trial of Google Earth Pro :ohyeah:

when i got this 10 days back.. i was like stunned with the details... and believe me msn is even better. i know this from the people who have seen it and they say its awesome
 
Ok. yaar logoa..

Apun download nahin kar paa raha hai.. everytime it says "unknown" size and then nothing is being downloaded..

Can anyone upload it to a free site for me and others.
