Google Starts Seeding Android 4.4 KitKat Update To Nexus 7 and Nexus 10

Google has announced that the latest Android 4.4 KitKat version update is now live for its Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets.



The update is seeding to Nexus 7 2012 and 2013 Wi-Fi only versions and Nexus 10 tablets. The update is not yet live in India but should be available shortly.

The Nexus 7 tablets with 4G/3G support will get the update soon. The LG Nexus 4 will also get the Android 4.4 KitKat update soon, probably in a week or two. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will not be getting the update.

So the N5 launcher is not present in N7 and N10.

The reports suggest that the launcher would be Exclusive to N5.

Read over xda that it isn't particularly any good on N7. Sone features aren't available.

I am still waiting for my N7 to arrive and will post how it goes.

It's too bad that they have dropped the support for galaxy nexus.
