WTB Gpu Heatsink and Fans.

Disciple
I have an Inno3x RTX 2060 and it has terrible fans and very barebones heatsink. It thermal throttles even with mild undervolt.
So if any one has a dead gpu with adequate heatsink please message me.

Try deshroud mod with some Noctua or arctic fans and good thermal paste.
I tried putting 120mm fans but the heatsink is too small to put two of them and I can't find any good 92mm fans. Maybe I'll try putting a 120mm aio on it with a couple of zip-ties.

Try indian workaround that I attempted in 2010 ;)
The shroud was metal for 8800GT, hence it helped even without thermal paste. Temperature dropped by 10+
I used a second feeder fan for my ATI 5870 too.
Worse case, get a arctic accelero if available cheap

This is called Indian Jugaad but risky
BTW checked the arctic accelero GPU coolers and they wont fit with my cooler at all and getting one is a simple waste of time and money since they wont fit at all.
Nowadays RTX 2000 series GPUs are costly than they originally were sold so stopped the idea of acquring an RX5000 Series AMD GPU since the seller quoted 32k for 5600XT because of the GPU mining craze nad prices sky rocketed.
PS: I want to make my build a whole AMD RED TEAM Build so was looking but now stopped altogether.
@Karthik G That is sick dude... Have u insulated the other end of the plate where it is closer to Mobo?
Also, the arctic accelero seems not compatible with 2060... Are u sure about that ?
Yes no arctic coolers are compatible or rather imcompatible with single fan versiuons of RTX 2000 series GPUs
Just checked

I know this was risky and insane as well, but had to try before upgrading to ATI5870, hence wanted to know an idea that popped in my head.
Now the principle I follow is, airflow-airflow-airflow; that is all it takes to elongate the life of any component. Especially removal of heat has to be quicker than feeding cold air and follow physics of hot air rises up and cold air is heavier.
So intake is always bottom half and exhaust is top - hope this helps others.

PS - even for radiators, it is better to have high air flow fans in Pull than static pressure in push. This is used for all air conditioning and automobiles across the globe. Benefit? = no dust and other particle accumulation.
But peripheral manufacturers just want to market all kinds of stuff like SP, AF, etc etc ;)
