Hi guys,
I am thinking of upgrading my GPU. I currently have an Nvidia Geforce 250GTS which is starting to show its age. My CPU is a C2D E6750.
Now I was thinking I would get a Geforce 660GTX and upgrade my mobo/CPU some time late this year or next year. Sort of a modular upgrade.
My question is, is my CPU gonna severely bottleneck the GPU? I know there will be a bottleneck, just need to know how bad. Is it bad enough to make the upgrade not worthwhile?
Also my current PSU is 450 Amigo and I think that oughta be fine, right? I have been reading up on the power consumption of cards and apparently my 250 GTS uses more power than the new 660 GTX. :O
