Are you high or something like excess of desi daru WTH you suggested to temper original bill and apparently don't have importance of SN. The bill without SN would become universal for whole lot by the company, tempered bill when produced at RMA center will either see rejection or could lead to 420, if they want. Further if RMA consider bill without SN, warranty would be calculated from the date of import/production, usually two three months less warranty.

If You Are Changing the amount or doing anything also its called tempering ,People Can Even Write The Serial No Of Your Product With a Pencil And Take To Service Center .The RMA Center Can Then Cross Check From Dealer .Aa Far As i Am Concerned We Try And Make As Many Bills With Serial No As We Can .Till Today I Have No Rememberance of anyone having a issue in RMA on the goods that i sell or have sold .There is no one who we have not helped .A General Discussion of a Member Of TE Be a Dealer or not a dealer should not be taken in the wrong way always .If this is the conduct of some members on TE it should be a rule that a dealer should not participate in any other section of the forum .
By the way Amarbir needs to stop calling and harassing people when they post about his service on the forums. IINM You threatened a lot of people, one of them being India Broadband forum's admin (just because you were not able to say whether you have a 6-to-8pin pcie connector???). IINM, its not just Tiwari, but you called up Asingh and harassed him 2 months ago?
People seriously need to smarten up before giving him personal/home numbers. If he is not into parallel imports (( and since he does have a valid VAT/CST Number )), why does he not mention the serial number on the bill? Amarbir clearly stated the only benefit (yes, its true that a valid bill with the serial code will save YOU the trouble should they not find the serial number or have some issue from their end) one will have- so why not mention it? Not everyone can take the burden to ship it to dealer for a warranty. They are better off dropping it to the nearest service centre!!

As a Dealer I Have The Choice To deal with a person or not .I attended very nicely to that fellow the first time he came to my shop .Then i found out That he blogged in a negative way for no reason on his blog .The next time i simple refused to deal with him and he blogged about that again .Why did he do it i said nothing to him i just told him my choice as to not to deal with him .Not dealing with a person is not a crime imho .As far as asingh is concerned i saw his post about serial no .I called him and asked him to send me the serial no of the products and the concerned bill no .Till today i have not got them .I was trying to solve his issue and not doing anything else .I have never called him after that .I do not think trying to help a fellow customer by seeing his post is a crime .
How the fook can the dealer call and ask question , i would recommend a ban on such dealers.

You call it the ONLY benefit? For me its the biggest benefit. Once I buy a product I don't want anything to do with the dealer. I don't want to be tied to a single outlet in the country when I have the choice to go to hundreds all over the country.

So Sorry to see you post like this .First my trading on te has really nothing to do with my english and my grammer and my style of writing .How many of you actually follow this yourself all across the forums .Secondly people have horror stories of other dealer not sending bills leave serial no .i would seriously suggest you have some definite rules as how a dealer on te should trade and its will be much better .Stuff Like Processing Time ,Shipping Time ,Delivery Time Frame ,How a Dealer and customer should conduct when there is a issue .In tiwari's issues he never asked me for a refund ,he created a thread without even asking me once .Other people also have issues and there is a system they deal with me for this and i have always worked hard to solve thier issues .I wonder why every post i make is a issue for some people .I am too a person just like you folks here .This basically shows that you Do Not want your dealer member to post anywhere at all ,This is just not fair .Even basic taking and giving my opinion just like Anyone else is criminal here ver very bad man .
PrimeABGB provides printed invoices that do not have a company seal/stamp. Anyone could make a bill that looks exactly the same as that issued by Prime using just MS Office!
Even then, if something goes wrong with the product, they handle the RMA for the customers. One just has to deposit the faulty item to them.
That is the only reason I prefer to be tied to them. Saves me the trouble of running around places for different service centers.
And yes, they too have the Serial Number on all bills.
Now, in case all dealers start accepting returns and handle RMA for the customers, a Serial Number won't matter I guess.

Every dealer has his own way of dealing with stuff like this .Just see this example chandigarh is a very small city and all rma centers are local here .All other dealers have a slip printed in thier office with location and phone no of the service/rma centers in chandigarh they do not handle this themself.There might be others too but as a principal of customer support we take all rma in our shop and we go and deliver the goods at our own expense to all rma centers and then in the second visit colelct them and give them back to the customer .this is just a example of my part as to what steps i do to do rma .I do not think ever there has been a rma issue at all .and if it has been we try and solve it .But as i said earlier just participation on Te with a dealer tag seems criminal to me and this is unfair at all .
Yes, he had called me on my cell -- after I posted stuff about him some months ago on one of the threads here..categorically mentioning "since I have nothing to do, I sit all day on forums and post". My stickler had been that I had not received SNs on the invoice for my 6 odd core hardware devices. This was a 2009 May-June purchase. He advised me to note down the part SNs manually and send him a mail on his Lynx Forum. This was during weekly office hours. He mentioned this on the last post of Tiwari's thread. He also said that I created a bad picture for his business on TDF. I am a moderator there, I just explained my experience with him in clear, and in fact even advised him to become a member there to see what all people want since volumes are quite large there for part requirements

you Deal With Me Directly At My store how much of this is really true what they keep on saying .I have seen that when you write something in support they pound on you too and you back off then .Thats what i was saying .Today We have completed 6800 orders and in routine we are sending stuff to people ,every other dealer here even on te has issues ,The only thing they do not do is discuss anything Anywhere ,This is Exaclty why i was stating that it seems criminal if you discuss anything with anyone .The Miscouduct they are talking about is one person whom i refuse to deal with blogging about me negatively for no reason and Mr Asingh whose problem i tried to solve When i Saw he had a issue in his bill .Excellent job BTW .
And surprisingly, the so called Dealer Misconduct somehow doesn't have an effect on the Dealer's iTrust Score!!

Misconduct Can Come From The customer Side Also .But As a Dealer We Never try and discuss anything like this openly Like This Also .I still Feel That People Like Sorcerer Etc Have a Defined a Particular Picture of us in their mind its impossible to take it out and i will never be able to Do That So .Might Be if i meet him Sometimes in person over a cup of coffee we can really talk it out and i could learn something from him in regard to how i conduct my business And Might Be i Could Try And Explain Him My Side Of The Story Also And Learn Something In That Process
