Hi Guyz...

one of my friend needs a Gfx card for playing some " Not so latest" games...he has only 1 PCIe 1x slot... he is low on budget too... so can any 1 of u suggest the best Gfx card to buy ??....Budget 2-5k :bleh:
 
PCIE 1x cards are hard to get in india.

HiS had released a X1300 PCIE 1x card, but the lack of bandwidth cuts down the performance real bad.

MOBO... then RAM(DDR2) then Proccy may be... Lol...STUCK!!
 
PCIE 1 x, I am surprised there are gfx cards for that slot too, its mainly for periperhal devices, a sorta replacement to the PCI slot....
 
PCI-E 1x i think that is PCI solt not PCI-E and for pci slot u would only get lame graphic cards such as fx5200.
 
^^ He wants a cheap gfx card, and you suggesting a mid end mobo...

AFAIK such mobos would have an AGP slot, get an AGP card..

this mobo has a pci-e X16 slot.read the complete review.

and also it makes more sense to buy a mobo keeping in mind future upgradation, instead of wasting time and money on a pci-e 1X graphics card. the mobo also has decent onboard graphics.
 
^^ LOL I know that, I was talking abt his present mobo, and no Intel integrated gfx are not decent...

A geforce 2 will have better IQ and performance compared to them..

AFAIK PCIE 1x card would be a waste, but if he has an AGP slot, he can buy a cheap 2nd hand agp card..
