This Thread is made keeping in Mind the INDIAN Perspective !DREAM CARDS
Geforce 7950GX2 : 45K +
Geforce 7900GTX SLi : 60K +
Geforce 7800GTX SLi : 50K +
Radeon X1800XT Crossfire : 55K +
Radeon X1900XT/XTX Crossfire : 60K +
Gameplay : These cards Provide a Gameplay u always Dream about ! For Most of us in India these cards r out of Reach ! The Prices r Rediculous and only a Rich Ba**ard can afford These ! Expect 1600*1200 or higher with maximum settings, mosly with AA and AF.
System : Now if u can afford these cards , then surely u can afford a Classy system ! Get 2-4gb High quality ram and any dual core(preferably Conroe) or Amd 3700-4000 or higher class cpu !
Future : Actually its quite stupid to Buy These cards now coz DX10 cards would Releasing soon ! But even if u Buy Them There is no Need to worry for another 2 Years ! As These would Definately Run all the future games on DX 9 mode ! You may miss on some Eye candy but still u will be able to enjoy all the games !

Gameplay : These cards r the Ultra High end cards ! Again u need to be very Rich to afford one of These but still there performance is Outstanding ! Expect1600*1200 with maximum settings, in most cases AA and AF enabled.
System : Again if u can afford these cards then u can surely afford a good system ! Although something Like an overclocked Amd 64 3000 wud be Fine but still a better CPU ( Daul core )is always Recommended ! 2gb quality ram would surely Help !
Future : As I said above , u should be fine for another 2 Years ! You should be able to Run all the DX 10 games but with slightly less Eye Candy !
Recommended Solution(VFM/Performance) : Radeon X1900XT ! Nothing beats This card ! This is the best out of the Bunch !
HIGH END CARDS
Geforce 7900GT : 18K +
Geforce 7800GT : 17K +
Geforce 7600GT SLI : 22K +

Gameplay : OK These r the cards for most of the Indian Hardcore Gamers ! They r still quite expensive but their Performance is also quite good ! Expect 1280*1024 with maximum or very high settings with Mostly Full AA and AF.
System : Amd 64 3000 will do Just Fine but still its better if u can get a More High end CPU Like Amd 3800 or Opteron ! Good quality 1 gb Ram should be Fine but still 2gb is Recommended !
Future : These have a Decent Future ! Will Be able to Run Most upcoming games on med-High settings !

Gameplay : These Cards r Excellent Value for Money ! They Perform very well and at the same Time aren't too expensive ! These would be the Obvious choice for most of us who cannot afford High end GPUs ! Expect Them to do 1024*768 primarily, sometimes 1280*1024, generally high or maximum settings except in cases like GRAW, Oblivion etc.
System : Again an AMD 3000 + Should be Fine But still a better CPU is allways welcome ! 1 GB Ram should be Fine , But more is better !
Future : Till The DX 10 Games r Realeased , these cards r fine ! But once the DX 10 Games r Released these cards will start to show Their age ! But still it will be able to run the DX 10 Games on Low-med settings !

Gameplay : These r the Lower mainstream Cards ! They wont be able to Run the Current GPU Heavy games on Max settings but still u can play them at low-med settings ! I suggest These cards if u r on Tight Budget ! Expect them to do 800*600 to 1024*768 Medium-Low !
System : Intel HT 2.8 or Amd Athlon 3000 + should be Fine ! 1 gb Ram Recommended !

Gameplay : Actually these cards r Dead Now ! They will be able to run 1-2 yr old Games on Med-Low settings ! They can Run Current games also but on low settings ! Recommended only if u r on a very very Tight Budget ! Expect them to do 800*600/1024*768 low-med.
System : Any Decent CPU will do ! Intel 2.0 Ghz or Athlon XP 2500 should be fine ! The Higher the better ! 512 mb Ram will do but the Higher the better !
Budget : Rs.3000-5000
