Hi i have made a new build consisting of a i7 3770 with p8z77-m pro and two 7770's in crossfire. There is still a 4X PCIe slot that is free on the motherboard so i was thinking of using my old GTX 275 as a dedicated Physx Card for the 7770 CF system right now the CPU is used for Physx does it make sense to use the GTX275 instead?
Also will the 4X PCIe make an impact on the performance of the GTX275 as far as physx performance is concerned?
The list of Physx enabled games is not huge but still note worthy... PhysXInfo.com - Projects using PhysX SDK
EDIT: I am also making a rather noisy HTPC which will be based on a AMD 3870K with a F1A75 M Pro mobo and either a single 7770 or a 6870, since the 3870K is rather a weak CPU would it make sense to use that GTX 275 as a dedicated Physx card in that build instead of the Intel build? I was so impressed with the CM 690 II Adv USB3.0 case that i have ordered another one for the HTPC will place it close to the HT sub woofer
