Graphic Cards Guys with DX10 cards

Adding DX10 has 'done nothing'
i know that dx9 games run pretty well but does DX10 performance really suck on the 8series??wonder what would happen when crysis releases!!

I have to agree with the article, directX10 performance really sucks atm ... much lower fps without any noticible difference in graphics

This was to be expected, anyone remember the DX9 beginning? or better yet the DX8...

All new things take time to mature, and the DX10 games and cards are no exception. Programmers need time to understand the model and make use of it properly.

The hardware isn't ronust enough, simply because it's so different from the older series, it happens, the next gen DX10 cards will be much much faster, optimized to run the games properly, hopefully even the games will start to use DX10 properly.

The h/w isn't anyone's bi*** though, just look at the DX9 benchies, continuing with the tradition, the GTX and Ultra's are twice as fast as the fastest from the previous gen, namely the 7950's and X1950's
