Hard disk recovery for laptop

Hi

Need laptop Hard disk recovery software.
Earlier all options were showing that my laptop disk is corrupted, Just installed windows 7 on it after formatting Hard drive.
I have only 1 drive on my lappy.
How to recover my old documents ?
