Monitors Have lcd monitors rate gone down?

I am asking because my friend went to r city mall the other day and said

Dell 2209 was for sale for 5999.

I said he might be mistaking with some 16 inch model.

But than he quoted model was of dell as mentioned about.

And price might be either 6999 or 5999.

Has the 22 inch prices got down so much if so than why?

As i still feel he needs to check his glasses i cant confirm personally.
 
22inch monitrors are available at 7K. ...yes
AOC, BenQ, viewsonic ...even dell
about the why part..... just because they are the in-demand size and sell the most.
if its 5999 get it ...really great deal

Are you referring to the 2209WA? There's no way that LCD is retailing for that cheap (costs 200USD!). If he still confirms the price, perhaps you should grab one right away. It could be a fault with the pricing from the retailer's side. :p
 
I said it what friend said.

He himself says himself to be a good hardware engineer but ask me when sticking stuff to others hence i dont believe him.

He only said 2209 thats it.He was more interested in 22 inches rather than model number.

Thats the reason i am asking here.Deal was in kroma.Can someone confirm your nearest kkroma about model and price.

I know kroma is shit expensive.Once i went there to buy a mp3 player costing 3.2k for 8 giga.

That model wasnt available.in its place the older model with 4gb was available for 3.5k.

I just go to malls only to have in hand experience thats it.
 
dipawali is comming ...croma (....kkroma...??) can have a sale like that ..
,,,last dipawali i saw the sony w series 47 inch go for as low as 90K!!!!( at croma)
