Scenario:
I have a P5Q Pro Mobo and a CM690 Cabinet, this cabinet has a Spk and Mic sockets on the top instead of the front panel.
Problem:
They just dont work, I am unable to hear or record audio when i connect it to these sockets......It works fine when I connect my headphones to the back of the cabinet.
Steps taken:
I opened the cabinet and found that the HD Audio plug needed to be plugged in the corresponding connector. I did this, and restarted my PC and made the changes in the BIOS as well, Advanced--> Onboard Device Config ---->
HDA- Enabled
Front Panel Type - HD Audio
SPDIF - SPDIF Output/HDMI Output (I dont know what this is??? so tried oth)
Well still no luck....doesnt seem to be working........do i have to be installling some driver??? Could someone guide be to find where I went wrong??
