Graphic Cards HD3850 Driver issue

Hi All,

I have HD3850 AGP card and my HTPC specs are: 2.4ghz CPU, 2GB RAM, Windows7 Ultimate OS(32bit).

The issue is whenever I play HD video the video locks in mili seconds interval continuously and even breaks sometime.

The card works fine with Windows XP.

Is there a patch or workaround to fix the issue ?

I have tried following windows7 32bit drivers and nothing helped:
Catalyst AGP Hotfix - Radeon HD 4000 Radeon HD 3000 and Radeon HD 2000 Series AGP products
ATI Catalyst? Display Driver
PowerColor Official Website - Graphics, Cases, Power Supply

Pentium 4 on gigabyte 460w superb. Temp. is ok ~50deg.

Same movie play smoothly on XP without any issue.

Played Planet Earth, Transformer, and few other 720p to test the playback, same issue in all.

well just tested the playback with media player classic and it has no issues at all, everything plays as normal.

Though the issue with vlc v1.0.3 remains same.

VLC DOes not use GPU acceleration unless you add post processing. So the CPU workload increases and hence the video locks.

^hm I did set post processing to 6 but that doesn't changed anything. Well I am fine with media player. All I worried was about if the driver are not upto mark for this card.
