hey guys this is my 2nd hdd failing
seagate 7200.12 500gb ST3500418AS(i have rma it before, this one is 6 months old)
first one was failed in 1 month from same problem, so i am taking this more seriously
i use pc 24X7, i rarely switch it off
not using any ups
bad sectors problem occurred after power out
and increased during normal computing and while playing crysis(3 times during crysis)
hdd sentinel log

although hd sentinel showing hdd health 84% which is above critical stage.
do u guys think that it will die eventually???
are power outs the reason???
also i need suggestion on buying a new hdd for backup
this is my choice-WD Caviar Blue 500gb
my budget is 3K
can i get a better one in my budget??
is there any way to fix this problem??
i read somewhere about fixing reallocated sector through ATA secure erase command, is it possible??
