Storage Solutions HDD is too slow

Hi friend's

I have a hdd of 160 GB. my pc is working too slow when using this HDD, I have checked this HDD to another pc and it slows down that pc also.

The HDD is under warranty But Is there any tool which can diagnose the HDD and increase the performance of HDD.

I want tools because it takes too much time to receive replaced or repaired HDD from service center.
