Storage Solutions HDD partition

I had accidentally created 10 GB partition on my 320 GB HDD. I have deleted it to extend or merge with another drive. However when i go to drive management in vista, it shows 10 GB unallocated space. I cant shrink it or extend it. Please tell me how can i recover it. my Is there any free partition editor software.

You will need to use some 3rd party tool for doing the same i.e. Partition Magic, Acronis etc.........

I will try these 3rd party software but is there any way to do it with vista default partition editor
