hi to all,
I have a monitor Dell ultra sharp TM 2208WFP(with DVI-D and VGA inputs) which i got from a fellow TE member in March 2008. i was having a good time watching my dth(airtel) using an external tv tuner card until i went for HD.
I did my research and got my self a HDMI to DVI-D cable and hoped that it would work, at the onset i could see the initializing screen, and got video. i watched it for some time on that day (around an hour or so),i was happy and went for the all hd channel package
. However , from next day onwards , i could only see the initialization screen after that my screen goes blank. i bought another hdmi to dvi-d(this time Single link) cable from Ebay, thinking it as an cable issue, but still i could only see till the initialization screen then again everything goes blank.
now i am back to my old self watching SD on a HD dth box with my TV tuner card. any help would be deeply appreciated.
