Storage Solutions Heading for failure?

I am getting this message from the OS (Win7 64-bit, System drive Seagate 500GB) : "Hard disk failure. Backup your system immediately."

I have run the Seatools - the drive failed the SMART test. Passed the Long Generic test.

How long do I have?

What is the best VFM internal drive in the market. Not interested in SSD. This is for home use incl. 24x7 download.

My seagate 1 TB died in 2 days of getting these messages, my drive failed the smart test as well. If you have some important data backup immediately.
 
I replaced it with WD Caviar Green 1 TB as it was the only one available in the market at that time (i wanted blue), i thought i had a lot of time to backup and ended up losing around 800GB of data.
